And finally… Timber doesn’t grow on trees

A talk show host has come unstuck after appearing to find out, in real time, that timber is a sustainable building product.
Mike Graham from talkRADIO conducted a short but sweet interview with Cameron Ford, a carpenter and spokesperson for the campaign group Insulate Britain.
During the interview, Mr Graham asks: “How is working with timber sustainable if you’re killing trees?”
To which Mr Ford’s obviously reply was: “Because it is regenerative, you can grow trees.”
“Right…,” returns the perplexed host. “Well you can grow all sorts of things, can’t you?”
The campaigner responded: “Well you can’t grow concrete.”
“Yeah you can.”
