And finally… Welsh street claims record for being the world’s steepest

A street in the Welsh coastal town of Harlech has been named the steepest in the world following a campaign by locals.
Guinness World Records verified the gradient of Ffordd Pen Llech at 37.45%, a full 2% steeper than the previous record holder in New Zealand.
The title had been held by Baldwin Street in Dunedin, with a gradient of 35% at its steepest.
Entrepreneur and architectural historian Gwyn Headley led the campaign to recognise the street as the steepest after his car slid down it while the handbrake was fully locked.
He said: “I feel utter relief - and jubilation. I feel sorry for the New Zealanders - but steeper is steeper. At least they have the Rugby World Cup … for the moment …”
A street in San Francisco is now understood to be looking at taking the title away from Wales.
