A unique “floating cinema” where audience members sit in separate boats will be brought to cities across the US later this year.
The project, which conveniently allows cinemagoers to comply with physical distancing guidelines, has been announced by Australian events company Beyond Cinema.
The pop-up cinema, made up of 12 to 24 mini boats holding up to eight people each, will come to cities including Los Angeles, Austin, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Denver.
The films on show will be “a mix of golden oldies and new releases”, and guests will receive free popcorn with their tickets.
