And finally…don’t fence me in
Workers on a building site in Dorset have been left scratching their heads after they were forced to surround a car with rumble because its owner never showed up to move it.
The Vauxhall Fontera 4x4 will now be boxed in for the next six weeks after builders at the new retail complex in Christchurch grew impatient after weeks of put up notices urging the owner to move the car before the work commenced.
But when no owner materialised to move the black off-roader it will now remain stranded between a hedged wall and a massive mound of rubble.
The site had been derelict for months and local residents said motorists have been using it for parking.
All of them, bar one, moved their cars once they heard of the planned works.
The new development will be home to TK Maxx, Matalan, Aldi, Bathstore, Poundland and Sports Direct when it’s finished.
