Arc-Tech completes service installation at Kintore House refurbishment
Building services provider Arc-Tech (Scotland) Ltd has completed a turnkey M&E solution for the major refurbishment and fit out of Kintore House located in Edinburgh.
Led by main contractor GHI Contracts, the former extended townhouse has been upgraded to create 82 serviced apartments including fit out to all communal areas. The development is now known as ‘Mode Hotel’ offering a luxury aparthotel experience in the heart of the city centre.
An extensive list of services were carried out by Arc-Tech over a 43-week duration including air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, lighting, IT and CCTV / security.
John Gallacher, managing director of Arc-Tech, said: “Kintore House was an extensive undertaking by our site team. Refurbishment contracts can always present challenges, however, we worked very closely with GHI to ensure that the standard of installation was of the highest standard. We believe we have managed to successfully meet our client’s expectations to ensure a comfortable living environment for the guests of Mode Hotel fulfilling our obligations in delivering the contract on time and on budget.
