Arc-Tech wins Livingston outlet M&E contract
Arc-Tech (Scotland) Ltd has been appointed to deliver the M&E works as part of refurbishment works at Livingston Designer Outlet.
Having undertaken a wide variety of commercial contracts since being established in 2016, the outlet refurbishment will be the first major contract for the Glasgow-based company in 2019.
Works will comprise new mall lighting, shop front lighting, external signage lighting, small power, sprinklers, fire detection, PA, ventilation and BMS, all forming part of the delivery of the mall refurbishment, mall’s new entrances, main mall atrium, lift lobbies and shopfronts.
Arc-Tech commenced the contract last month on behalf of main contractor Clark Contracts and will be on-site for an eight-month programme.
John Gallacher, managing director of Arc-Tech, said: “The Livingston Designer Outlet is one of Scotland’s largest shopping malls and we are very pleased to be involved in creating a new shopping experience for their many customers. We are also delighted to be partnering with Clark Contracts and I’m sure that our operations team will successfully deliver this project with our meticulous attention to quality and customer service.”
