Founded in 2018 by Alistair Lea and Shehan Heguragamage, both of whom have formal backgrounds in architecture, Archilink benefits from their deep understanding of the precision and detail required in architectural projects. Their combined expertise has played a key role in establishing the company’s strong reputation within the industry.

Alistair Lea, co-founder of Archilink, said: “After securing successful grant funding from Sir Ian Wood and Scottish Edge, we quickly gained momentum, reaching a turnover of £125,000 in 2021. In just six years, we’ve increased our revenue to nearly £1m, our team has grown from two to six people and last year we opened our second office in Glasgow, alongside our original location in Aberdeen.”

The results we’ve achieved so far show that we’ve not only met the growing demand but are also strengthening our presence across key cities in Scotland and beyond.”

The company is now working with 234 active clients on a range of projects, from residential to large commercial and mixed-use buildings. Notable projects include the Glasgow Film Theatre and the Gleneagles Hotel, where Archilink’s team used a combination of ground-based and aerial scanning technologies to create highly detailed 3D models for architectural preservation and design.

Looking ahead, Archilink expects to create more job opportunities, aiming to expand its team to eight people, while continuing to drive growth in both revenue and operational capacity. The company also plans to open a new office in Manchester by the end of 2025, as it expands its reach further across the UK.
