Architecture firm ADP opens new Edinburgh studio

Edinburgh2ADP has opened a studio in Edinburgh to take advantage of growing confidence in Scotland after securing university commissions for Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt.

With a strong track record across the commercial sectors the team is being led by director Graeme Feechan, who is also overseeing commercial projects in the central belt and borders.

Graeme is joined initially by a team of five staff, but the practice expects this to grow quite rapidly. The Edinburgh team will be supported by 120 staff, distributed across eight UK studios.

“We believe that the Scottish market will be very receptive to what we can offer,” said Graeme Feechan, “Edinburgh is an inspirational place in which to work as an architect and having a local presence enables us to give our clients the best possible service.”

Having a base to compliment the work developed from their Glasgow studio helps strengthen ADP’s position north of the border. The move reflects the practice’s confidence in the opportunities for growth in Scotland, with the company aiming to increase turnover this year to £9 million across its network of regional studios.
