ATS in kit deal with Dunfermline Rugby Club
Advanced Traditional Screeding (ATS) has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with Dunfermline Rugby Football Club (DRFC) in kit provision for over 200 youth players.
The Rosyth-based firm, which is a specialist flooring contractor with a UK-wide client base, became the front of shirt sponsor for the first time this season, and has now extended the agreement for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.
The terms of the agreement will see every age group from U13s through to the U18s boys and girls provided their match-day tops, branded with the ATS logo.
Welcoming the extension of support, Club President Scott Murphy said: “We are delighted to have continued support from ATS for youth kit. With more than 200 players in our system, it is vital they have the right kit and support which in turn gives them a real sense of unity and identity. ATS will be front and centre as our young players continue to create special memories in the colours of Dunfermline Rugby Club.
“The young people at DRFC are the future of the club, and I know this more than anyone having started here as a teenager myself. It is vital the current crop of young players have access to the kit they need, and ATS are very much playing a part in making this happen.
“It’s fantastic to have backing from a local business such as ATS, and it shows the level of compassion they have for the local community, whilst also understanding the benefits of rugby for young people’s wellbeing from a social, physical and mental perspective.
“The investment defines them as a business, and we cannot thank them enough.”
ATS managing director Jason Lister lives in Dunfermline and is proudly backing the club, saying: “We want to support the local community where we can and we’re delighted to have this deal in place for this season and the next two.
“The rugby club is a great outlet for the youngsters in the town. It provides a great socialising opportunity for young people, teaching them the values of teamwork, good character and life skills. It is not only important for their physical health but also their mental wellbeing, too.“I have known Scott for some time and his dedication to the rugby club has been inspiring.
“His leadership is an excellent example of how to impact your community positively. Helping out in this way emphasises what we are all about as a business and I think ATS and Dunfermline Rugby Club is a good match.”
