Back to business for Maxi in Hawick
Maxi Construction has been awarded a £2.5 million contract from Scottish Borders Council for the construction of Hawick Business Centre, a new three-storey business space hub for small businesses within Hawick town centre.
The new 433m2 development will be constructed across three floors providing office spaces with communal kitchen facilities, benefiting from natural lighting, natural ventilation and fibre connectivity.
John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s managing director, said: “We’re looking forward to working with Scottish Borders Council and the project team to deliver a new modern building within Hawick town centre for the benefit of local small and start-up businesses.”
The project team includes project manager and quantity surveyor Turner & Townsend, architect Aitken Turnbull, civil & structural engineer Goodson Associates and MEP engineer Blackwood Partnership.
