Bancon Group has reshaped its leadership team with several promotions and new appointments.

As part of the new leadership structure, Bob McAlpine has been appointed executive chairman, while Andrew Tweedie takes on the newly created role of chief financial officer (CFO), overseeing all financial, investment, and corporate matters for the group. Jamie Tosh will continue as managing director of Bancon Homes & Construction, and David Crawford will remain managing director of Deeside Timberframe.

The Aberdeenshire-based group has also announced two internal promotions with Jim Campbell named construction director for Bancon Homes & Bancon Construction, and Donna Fraser becoming Bancon Group HR director.

Both Ms Fraser and Mr Campbell have shown exceptional dedication during their combined 40-year careers with the business and are recognised for embodying Bancon’s core values, particularly across teamwork, trust, and care.

Joining the leadership team as sales director for Bancon Homes is Tanya Fowlie, who brings extensive experience in housebuilding, construction, and leadership from her previous roles with prominent homebuilders.

Ms Fowlie said: “It’s an exciting time to join the Group as we prepare to celebrate 50 years in business in 2025 and have recently launched the next phase of new homes at our flagship Lochside of Leys development in Banchory.”

Executive chairman Mr McAlpine said: “These strategic moves underpin Bancon Group’s commitment to teamwork and strong governance in our quest for continued growth.

“Strengthening our leadership team was essential to advancing our strategic goals of continually developing our people and culture, and exceeding customer expectations. As we enter this exciting new chapter in our long history, I am very proud to be part of such a talented and committed team.”
