Bancon Homes makes senior sales and marketing appointment
Independent Aberdeenshire housebuilder Bancon Homes has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of an experienced sales and marketing director.
With more than 16 years’ experience in the property sector, Jo Skinner joins the firm which recently launched the high-profile 40 property development at Oaklands in Banchory.
Bancon Group chief executive, John Irvine, welcomed Jo to the company saying: “In a challenging market, it’s even more important to have the best skills and experience. With an impressive track record in customer service and in-depth knowledge of the local housing market, Jo is a valuable addition to our team.”
A graduate of Robert Gordon University, Jo joins Bancon Homes from Barratt Homes, where she held the post of sales manager. She also spent ten years with Stewart Milne Homes, initially as a sales negotiator before becoming area sales manager for Grampian.
Jo said: “I have long admired Bancon Homes and am looking forward to working with the team to achieve our sales targets. Despite the current challenges in the marketplace, I continue to have confidence in the local property market and, with exceptional products to sell, I know I will relish the opportunity this position presents.”
Bancon Homes’ current sites include apartments at Aspire on Union Grove, detached houses at Milltimber West and flats and houses at the Maidencraig community to the west of Aberdeen, as well as developments in Aboyne, Banchory and Drumoak.
