Run by volunteer coaches, Strathaven RFC is a hugely successful family-focused rugby club providing training and rugby football skills to children and adults in Strathaven and the surrounding area.

Commenting on today’s news, Strathaven RFC Under 18 coach Sinclair McLaren said: “It’s fantastic that Bancon homes have agreed to support our under 18 team this year. We are a club with big ambitions and having support like this from Bancon Homes really helps us grow. Hopefully the new houses in the area will also mean new players for us. We are always looking for new players at every age, so if interested please get in touch. And thanks again to the Bancon Homes team.” 

President David Naismith added: “It is our 40th anniversary next year, and with being very much a community club, it is great that Bancon Homes are coming on board to support us. With their support we hope the next generation of players will come through to our adult teams. I would like to thank Bancon Homes for their support for the U18 team and the wider club, and I hope we can grow this relationship going forward.”
