The popular event, taking place on Saturday 4 November at King George V Park, is organised by Banchory and District Round Table, a voluntary organisation whose main mission is to support local charities, with all profits from the event donated to charitable causes in the Banchory area.

Last year’s display raised around £15,000 for local charities and good causes.

Entry is free with donations requested on the night. Gates open at 6pm, with the bonfire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks display at 7pm.

“It is hugely popular, and credit must be given to the team of volunteers at Banchory and District Round Table who not only organise the bonfire and fireworks display but raise much-needed funds for charity through the generous donations from people attending the event.”
