Barry joins Farrans with extensive experience in a variety of senior positions for self-performing main contractors and previously worked in his native Scotland, the Middle East and South East Asia.

He will be responsible for leading multi-site project teams from pre-construction to post-construction, developing new business, engaging with clients at an early stage and regularly reviewing project status to ensure key milestones are achieved. He will have full operational responsibility for the performance of the region, including on high profile projects such as Edinburgh Trams to Newhaven and a portfolio of multi-million-pound schemes covering the marine, renewables and roads and bridges sectors.

Farrans has had a presence in Scotland for more than 75 years.
