Celebrating its 49th year, the Gala Week has been unable to take place for the past two years due to the pandemic but will make a return on Sunday 5 June with a Big Lunch as part of the UK’s official Jubilee celebrations.

The week-long activities will culminate with the Gala Day, taking place on Saturday 11 June which will feature a Parade ending at Crindledyke Playing Fields where there will be live music, a bar, tea tent, stalls, car boot sale, soft paly are, Nintendo play area, football and much more.

We’re delighted to be able to support the Gala charity which I’m sure will be a terrific week of great events.”

Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland West) is set to unveil a new residential development on Main Street in Newmains later this summer.
