Brunton Design wins planning permission for Angus country home
Brunton Design has secured planning approval for a detached house in the Angus countryside.
The house comprises three living areas, an open plan kitchen dining area, five bedrooms, and a four car garage.
In addition, there is to be an indoor golf range, a gym, a wine cellar, home cinema and a self-contained ‘granny’ flat.
The house is finished with contemporary materials but fixed to a series of traditional forms to allow the house to be developed in phases.
Allan Mudie, partner at Brunton Design, said: “The site is by the sea and the house has been designed to make the most of the location by having the principal living areas looking out towards the water.”
He added: “Our ability to create our own CGI images and fly-through film assisted in winning over a sceptical local authority planning department.”
