Cairn unveils new development in Forres

Cairn Housing Association has completed and opened a new housing development in Forres, Moray.

The project provides 28 high-quality homes, including a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom semi-detached houses and bungalows, as well as one-bedroom cottage flats, all designed to meet the diverse needs of the local community.

The new homes feature state-of-the-art air source heat pumps, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability for the residents. The development underscores Cairn Housing Association’s commitment to delivering modern, comfortable, and environmentally friendly housing solutions.

The project was made possible through a collaborative effort with several esteemed partners. KLM Partnership served as the employer’s agent, ensuring the project met its objectives and standards. The Highland Housing Alliance partnered with Cairn to support the project’s successful delivery. Helica provided diligent oversight as the clerk of works, and Tulloch Homes brought their expertise and dedication to the construction of these homes.

Additionally, this development was built in close collaboration with Moray Council and with substantial support from the Scottish Government, demonstrating a strong partnership aimed at addressing the housing needs in Moray.
