The housebuilder has already delivered more than 200 homes at its Sequoia Meadows development.

The third phase of homes approved by South Lanarkshire Council in late April will comprise a mix of three-bed terraced, three-bed semi-detached, and four- and five-bedroom detached homes. Cala will also be introducing three- and four-bedroom townhouses which will be exclusive to this new phase of development.

Families moving into the new community will benefit from a purpose-built nursery and primary school, constructed with the support of a consortium of home builders including Cala Homes. Jackton Primary School welcomed its first cohort of pupils in August 2023.

Additionally, the development has played a vital role in improving connectivity between Jackton and nearby Lindsayfield, with an arterial spine road completed in 2023 that has subsequently reduced congestion and commute times for local people.

New cycle and footpaths have also been created to encourage sustainable lifestyles whilst also creating safer access routes to local amenities.
