CALA granted approval for third phase of Grandhome development
Aberdeen City Council has given the green light for the third phase of CALA Homes’ Grandhome development in Bridge of Don.
The third phase will comprise 55 two, three and four-bedroom properties including a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced housetypes. New CALA housetypes which have not previously been built in the region are also featured in the plans.
CALA’s current phase, Mains of Grandhome, comprises three, four and five-bedroom terraced, semi-detached and detached homes.
Lynn Melvin, senior land manager at CALA Homes (North), said: “We are pleased to receive planning permission for a third phase at our popular Grandhome development.”
She added: “To date, we’ve seen 124 residents move into their homes and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to develop this community further, working in partnership with alongside the Grandhome Trust.
“We are particularly excited to bring new housetypes to the area, expanding on the fantastic selection of homes we build. This phase will see a real mix of homes to suit every homebuyer no matter where they are on the property ladder.”
Work on the third phase is expected to begin in spring/summer 2022.
