Caledonia awarded grant funding for Carnoustie affordable housing development
Funding has been agreed this week to allow Caledonia Housing Association to build a significant affordable housing development in Carnoustie.
The development on Anderson Street in Carnoustie will comprise of new 24 homes in an enviable position overlooking the golf course. The housing consists of 8 two bed flats for shared equity ownership, 8 two bed flats for rent and 8 one bed flats for rent.
Caledonia’s homes are part of the Section 75 element of a larger site which started several months ago, some of the private units have already been finished, sold and occupied.
The Caledonia flats will start construction next month and it is anticipated they will be completed for early autumn next year.
