Morgan Sindall – which also designed and constructed the recently completed Maybole Academy – is holding the ‘Meet the Buyer’ event on December 11 at Ardrossan Civic Centre.

Taking place from 9am-11.30am, any local SMEs, businesses, sole traders, and social enterprises can attend to discuss tendering opportunities.

The site is currently undergoing extensive remediation and construction of the new campus will not begin until next year.

The new facility will comprise early years, primary and secondary school with additional support needs.

The shared community facilities will also include a library, learning hub and indoor sports facilities including swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium, dance studio & fitness studio, outdoor sports facilities including two sports pitches and a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). There will also be an outdoor learning landscape, recreational and growing spaces, along with associated parking and infrastructure.

Councillor Tony Gurney, cabinet member for Green Environment and Economy, said: “We are very much looking forward to working with Morgan Sindall to take this project to fruition. The Meet the Buyer event is a great opportunity to learn more and possibly find out how you could work with them to take the project forward.

“Projects of this scale take many partners with expertise in different areas, and we are delighted to be now working with another.
