Previously a drilling supervisor overseeing drilling rigs out in Malaysia, Gabon and Thailand, Mr Mortlock has a vast amount of experience in managing complex engineering processes, supervising operatives and ensuring robust safe systems of work are in place.

Caltech managing director Andrew Renwick said: “We are extremely lucky to get someone of Ben’s calibre leaving the oil & gas industry and joining the lift industry.
