Careers evenings being held by Clark Contracts

As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, Clark Contracts is holding its 9th annual careers evenings in Paisley and Edinburgh to launch the recruitment process for the contractor’s 2025 trainee and apprentice intake.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the company’s Recruitment and HR Team along with a range of the contractor’s current employees to find out more about careers at Clark Contracts and how they can progress through the company’s award-winning Academy.

The Paisley event is being held on Tuesday 4th March from 5.30pm in Clark Contracts’ Head Office at 23 McFarlane Street, Paisley, PA3 1RY. Those interested in attending can register for the event here to receive a time slot to attend. Attendees will also get the opportunity to speak to representatives from Glasgow Caledonian University and Skills Development Scotland.



The Edinburgh event is being held on Thursday 6th March from 4pm in Premier Inn’s Edinburgh Park (Airport) hotel at 1 Lochside Court, Edinburgh Park, Edinburgh, EH12 9FX. Those interested in attending can register for the event here to receive a time slot to attend.

The contractor, who has previously been crowned ‘Best Place to Work’ at the Construction News Talent Awards and who hold a gold accredited membership via The 5% Club’s 2024-25 Employer Audit Scheme, will have opportunities for those interested in apprenticeships and traineeships in roles including Quantity Surveying, Site Management, Contracts Management, Estimating and office based roles including Administration, Buying, Finance, IT and more.

Clark Contracts said it is committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry and currently has over 41 trainees and apprentices enrolled within its Academy, which since being formed in 2006, has supported over 350 trainees and apprentices into the industry. The contractor annually invests £750k into training and is dedicated to the continued development of employees, with many having progressed from trainee and apprentice positions to senior management roles within the business.
