Carmichael Homes submits plans for 18 new homes in Plean
Carmichael Homes has submitted plans to Stirling Council for a residential development of 18 dwellings, infrastructure and open space on land south of Plean Parish Church on Main Street.
Documents submitted with the application read: “The site has been granted planning permission previously for a development of 16 houses. The site is also allocated in the Local Development Plan.”
The proposals include four three-bedroom houses, 11 four-bedroom houses and three five-bedroom houses.
All 18 homes would also feature integral garages.
The agents added: “The allocation of this residential site has previously been granted planning permission and it benefits from being in a highly sustainable location with access to all necessary services and facilities and access to public transport, all of which minimises the need for car trips and car ownership and development supports the objectives of the Local Transport Strategy giving a greater number of residents access to these benefits.”
