CBRE announces double appointment in Aberdeen
Real estate advisor CBRE has announced the appointment of two new members of staff in Aberdeen for its growing project management and building consultancy department.
Andrew Beedie has joined the firm as a surveyor following a two-year period running his own practice in Orkney, working on both commercial and residential instructions. Prior to that, he worked in Aberdeen with FG Burnett.
Mr Beedie decided to move back to Aberdeen and focus on commercial building consultancy and will work in CBRE’s building surveying service line delivering technical due diligence including building surveys, dilapidations and contract administration.
Andrew Michel has joined as an associate director, having worked previously with Space Solutions. He qualified in 2012 as a building surveyor and moved into contractor side project management.
In his new role with CBRE, Mr Michel will focus on leading the building surveying service line in Aberdeen, assisted by Mr Beedie.
Roddy Morrison, director and head of the building consultancy team in Aberdeen, said: “We’re thrilled to announce these appointments, which are in line with our plans to grow the project management and building consultancy team in Scotland.
“Both Andrew Michel and Andrew Beedie bring an impressive set of skills and broad range of experience to the team, enabling us to expand and enhance our offering to clients in the North East and beyond.”
