With a workforce of over 700, including 44 apprentices and 27 trainees, the Glasgow-based firm is recognised for its year-on-year commitment to skills replenishment and development.

The new recruits have joined the business alongside a further intake of trainees across varying roles in health & safety, estimating, buying and surveying with each helping to support CCG’s extensive affordable housebuilding programme and a growing portfolio of work within the care and education sectors.

Group financial director, Bernie Rooney, highlighted the company’s commitment to developing staff from within as being integral to CCG’s immediate and long-term business goals.

He said: “CCG’s reputation as a business is built upon an honest approach to our work; building relationships that are derived from the ground up on and a customer commitment that strives for excellence in everything we do. Our people are hugely important to that process and that is why we continue to invest in skills and development to deliver the very highest standards of service for our clients and partners.”

CCG is also set to introduce up to thirteen new apprentices to the business this August. Having announced the intake earlier this year, young people aged sixteen and above will enter into a four year programme across trades such as bricklaying, plumbing and joinery as well as roles in vocational training.
