City Building gives charitable gifts
A Scottish construction company has presented two charities with cheques for £10,000 apiece.
City Building, which employs over 2,200 people in Scotland, made the donations to Kidney Research UK and Beatson Cancer Charity in reflection of the number of staff whose family and friends have been affected by cancer and kidney disease.
Graham Paterson, executive director of City Building, said he was “pleased and proud” to make the donations.
The cheques were presented at Glasgow City Chambers after a charity golf day at Sandyhills Golf Course jointly organised by City Building and the Lord Provost’s and International Office.
