Clark Contracts completes office fit out at Glasgow Airport Business Park
The £2.5 million fit out of the three storey ‘Lightyear’ office building within Glasgow Airport Business Park has been completed by Clark Contracts in collaboration with Squarestone Growth.
Previously known as the Cirrus Building, the existing office was stripped back to allow the Cat A fit out works to be completed whilst the remainder of the building was operational.
The internal works included full mechanical and electrical upgrade, flooring, decoration and refresh of all toilet areas. New feature lighting was installed within the two reception areas in addition to the upgrade of the ventilation system, new automatic doors within the main reception and new fire doors throughout the building. Externally, new car park barriers and alterations to external cladding was completed.
A new bespoke reception desk was created and installed by Clark Contracts’ in house manufactured joinery division.
Clark Contracts delivered the project in phases over a seven-month period working alongside architect C2 Concepts, project managers BTY Consultancy, structural engineer David Narro Associates and services engineer Hoare Lea.
Squarestone Growth founding partner Paul Coulter said: “We were delighted to work with Clark Contracts on this comprehensive Grade A office refurbishment adjacent to Glasgow International Airport and are excited to re-launch this fully modernised 80,000 sqft asset to the market.”
Gerry Cummins, Clark Contracts director, added: “It has been fantastic to deliver this fit out project for new customer Squarestone with whom we hope to work with again in the future.”
