Clark Contracts to deliver £5.6m fit out at 310 St Vincent Street
Praxis Real Estate Management has appointed Clark Contracts to complete a major £5.6 million fit out of its office development at 310 St Vincent Street in Glasgow.
The former Whyte and MacKay building was acquired by Praxis in 2013 and is now undergoing a 26 week design and build fit out, supported by the Scottish Government’s SPRUCE fund.
Works scheduled to complete before the end of the year involve the full strip out and refurbishment of all 10 floors, along with the atrium and reception area.
Upon completion, the building will offer 70,000sq. ft. of premium Grade A office space and join St Vincent Plaza and Scottish Power’s new HQ as part of a new high spec business quarter at the west end of St Vincent Street.
The comprehensive refurbishment includes new VRF air conditioning throughout, new LED lighting, new suspended ceilings and raised access floors, balconies/terraces (on upper floors), shower/changing facilities at basement level and an excellent car parking ratio of 1:1,258 sq ft.
Floorplates range from 2,764 sq ft – 9,406 sq ft and the joint letting agents are Knight Frank and CBRE.
Clark Contracts is also currently delivering the £5m fit out of Atlantic Quay 3 within Glasgow’s International Financial Services District, providing a further 71,000 sq. ft. of Grade A space.
Gerry Cummins, director at Clark Contracts, said: “Given the current shortage of Grade A office space within Glasgow’s city centre, we are looking forward to completing both projects, which will add more than 140,000 sq. ft. of much needed, top quality work space.”
