Clark Contracts to deliver multiple NHS projects
Clark Contracts has been awarded five new projects through NHS National Services Scotland’s Minor Works Framework.
The first of the new projects is the £1.8 million refurbishment of NHS National Services Scotland’s offices at Gyle Square in Edinburgh. These works, which are being completed out with normal working hours to minimise disruption, include general decoration works, new flooring, toilet refurbishments and the replacement of mechanical and electrical services.
Clark Contracts is also delivering the £270k refurbishment of Ward 64 within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. These works within the hospital’s Neurosurgery department include the replacement of wall, floor and ceiling finishes, installation of new IPS panelling and sanitary ware, joinery work and lighting replacements.
In addition, the contractor is completing the refurbishment of Ward 1 within St John’s Hospital in Livingston for NHS Lothian and two projects within NHS Forth Valley’s Trystview rehabilitation facility, which comprise of wet room refurbishments and window replacements.
Clark Contracts has been appointed to the framework since 2015 and previous projects have included the refurbishment of NHS Education for Scotland’s office in Aberdeen, roof replacement works at Gartnavel General Hospital, the refurbishment of the Discharge Lounge within the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the refurbishment of the Central Medical Block at QEUH.
