Closing date set for partially developed residential site in Strathaven
A closing date has been set on the sale of a partially developed residential site and dwellings in Strathaven.
Comprising two plots, the site was formerly owned by the now-liquidated Titan Homes (Scotland).
The development comprises two plots. Plot 1 comprises a part-completed residential development with Plot 2 consisting of a large plot of undeveloped land located to the north of the development.
The part-completed residential development, known as ‘Cairn View’, benefits from planning permission for 14 dwellings to be constructed, providing six detached and eight semi-detached houses.
Seven of the 14 dwellings have been completed and sold, and as such do not form part of this sale. The remaining seven plots are at varying stages of construction.
Plot 1 is an irregular shape spanning approximately 1.8 acres. Plot 2, an area of undeveloped ground to the north of the site is also included, measuring 1.63 acres.
Access can be gained via the A726 Road. The subjects are covered by the South Lanarkshire Council Local Development Plan.
Adam Honeyman, partner at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said: “The site was originally granted planning permission to construct 10 detached homes. This consent was subsequently amended to increase the number of dwellings to 14. Available in whole or in part, prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves in relation to planning prior to purchase.”
Offers are invited by Wednesday 12th February at 12 noon.
