Window, door and curtain walling designer, manufacturer and installer CMS Window Systems has been identified as one of the country’s most profitable businesses by being named in 2016’s highly respected Profit Track 100 report by The Sunday Times in conjunction with BDO and UBS.

The Profit Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits over their latest three years. It is compiled by Fast Track and published as a supplement in The Sunday Times each April.

CMS is listed in 42nd place in the league table which reflects the strength of its business model as well as the company’s rapid growth over the past decade combined with strong forward orders. In a financial year which has seen profit top £6.5m, the company has increased employee numbers to above 250 and has created a new office in North East England.

Making the Profit Track 100 is a further endorsement of CMS’s achievements and potential, and comes hot on the heels of the firm’s listing in the London Stock Exchange’s Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report.

Based at Castlecary near Glasgow, CMS operates a 15-acre manufacturing and recycling facility as well as having additional recycling and manufacturing capabilities in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
