The awards are the only national awards that recognise and celebrate the very best specialist contractors in the UK. The win was confirmed at a glittering ceremony which was held at the Hilton Park Lane in London and which was attended by over 900 representatives from the industry.

Glasgow based CBES was shortlisted for the award on the basis of the work its refrigeration, mechanical & electrical and fire & security divisions had carried out in 2015.

The judges commented that CBES had provided a “compelling and impressive submission, which stood out from the rest”.

They also remarked that “CBES have left us with a very clear idea of what they want to do and why. They have shown impressive growth with a clear strategy focused on satisfying the demand of its client base, providing them with substantial cost savings”.

David Still, managing director of CBES, said: “Our submission for this award was based around our values of providing Constructive Solutions to our clients, our colleagues and to Health and Safety. Being recognised in this manner is a real testament to the work that everyone in CBES produces on a daily basis, and I’m very proud of what the team have achieved.”
