The firm, which specialises in Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV), is building a bespoke office, warehouse and training complex on recently-acquired land at Mauchline which will be the hub for its UK operations.

The project, which will more than treble the six-year-old company’s capacity from 80 sq. metres to 280 sq metres, is expected to be completed by July.

Founder Kevin Simmonds said: “We have planning permission, the building warrant is applied for and we are ready to start construction as soon as it is granted. The building materials are ordered and we are ready to go.

“This is  major investment, driven by the fact that we expect to post growth figures which are up by 90% by June – and this comes on top of an increase in revenues of 75% last year. It will bring high quality jobs to the local area.”

Compliance LEV has achieved significant market share in recent years by helping manufacturers cut costs, reduce energy usage and improve workforce health by testing and maintaining systems and reviewing customer facilities for compliance with LEV regulations.

It has also developed and introduced a revolutionary Oil Mist Solution for CNC machines such as drills, lathes, mills and grinders which cuts power consumption by between 47% and 68%. Its filtration captures the mist and fumes from fluids used as lubricants or coolants.

The company creates bespoke systems for companies by acquiring industry-leading components from original equipment manufacturers around the world and designing and installing unique solutions to meet clients’ individual requirements.

It has already participated in more than 200 installations, including for a global manufacturer of gas turbine engines and the pharmaceutical arm of a global business conglomerate.

The new facility will allow Compliance LEV to take on another three office staff, another three on site and one store person to take the headcount to 15. More jobs, said Mr Simmonds, will follow as growth maintains its current momentum.
