Details: SPS requires a contractor to replacement/upgrade the current extraction fans within residential areas, A and D Halls within HMP Barlinnie as these are starting to fail. Essential parts such as controllers and motors are becoming obsolete and harder to replace/source. The controllers and motors which power the extract systems are located in the attic/plantroom space of the establishment. A replacement/upgrade of this system will assist with overall maintenance, while bringing it up to a more modern and efficient standard.
