Details: This Invitation to tender is for the survey of existing housing units to identify record and report on the presence of potable water lead supply pipes with the survey information provided being used as a basis of a works contract to replace the lead pipes in the Council’s housing stock where identified.

Please note there is to be at least 800 housing units requiring to be surveyed, though these details will be confirmed by the Authority. The properties will likely be a combination of stand alone, semi-detached houses, four in a block and flats. Some of the adjacent flats and houses will have been sold and it is possible that they share common water supply pipes.
