Contractor sought for Edinburgh University’s £28m data centre
The University of Edinburgh is seeking a contractor to build its new £28m Data Technology Institute.
Designed by Bennetts Associates, the Data Technology Institute is to be the third and final phase of the University’s Potterrow development. The first two phases were constructed and completed in 2008.
Prequalification questionnaires are to be returned by 14th April and the university is anticipating a start on site in December 2015, with completion 21 months later.
Alongside architect Bennetts Associates, the project team includes Faithful & Gould, Buro Happold, Turner & Townsend and Ironside Farrar.
