Cross Party Group on Architecture and the Built Environment to hold online discussion
Linda Fabiani MSP will tonight host an online debate and discussion as part of the Cross Party Group on Architecture and the Built Environment.
The group aims to maintain a forum of MSPs and others to promote and further the economic, social, environmental and cultural contributions that architecture and the planned environment make to the quality of life of Scotland’s citizens.
Also, while acknowledging the responsibilities devolved to the Scottish Parliament, to sustain a dialogue on Scottish architecture, planning and built environment in the European and World contexts.
Taking place in collaboration with the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and RTPI Scotland, the meeting will hear from speakers including:
- Chris Morgan - Director John Gilbert Architects
- Duncan Smith - Housing Asset & Energy Strategy Manager at Renfrewshire Council
- David Pierpoint - CEO The Retrofit Academy Community Interest Company
- Prof. Sandy Halliday Hon FRIAS - Principal at Gaia Research (Recent winner in the Top 50 women in Engineering)
