Cruden Homes makes raft of additions to East of Scotland team
Cruden Homes has appointed Rory Stephens as senior land & development manager in the East of Scotland.
Rory, a chartered surveyor, will be focusing on sourcing new opportunities across Cruden Group’s core areas of bespoke private residential development, mixed-tenure regeneration and affordable housing. Rory brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in acquisition and development at the Chris Stewart Group and in corporate real estate at Lloyds Banking Group.
Rory will join Barry Woods, who has recently been appointed to the role of land & development manager at Cruden Homes, having previously held the role of project management surveyor.
Rory’s appointment is the latest in a series of new roles within Cruden Homes, as the company prepares to boost housing delivery across both private and public sectors.
In response to a notable increase in the delivery of developments across the East of Scotland, Cruden Homes’ burgeoning operational team has also welcomed a number of new recruits including: Kyle Rowley – contracts manager, Richard Low - contracts manager, John McDonald – project manager, Andrew Graham – site manager, Neil McGhie – assistant site manager and Andrew Black - assistant site manager.
Rory Stephens said: “It’s exciting to join Cruden Homes at a time when they have ambitious growth plans. I’m enjoying the sheer scale and diversity that the role offers, and I look forward to working on a variety of interesting projects.”
Steven Simpson, manager director of Cruden Homes (East), said: “These new appointments demonstrate our commitment to continued growth and reflect the evolving strength and breadth of our business.
“Rory will play a vital role in identifying new opportunities to drive forward the group’s expansion plans, and I am delighted to welcome him aboard. Similarly, the new additions to our growing operational team will add significant value to our business and I am thrilled to welcome them at this exciting time.”
