Currie & Brown appoints Robbie Smith as director in Scotland
Asset management and construction consultancy Currie & Brown has appointed Robbie Smith as director responsible for project and programme management services in Scotland.
Robbie joins the business from the University of Glasgow where he was project director responsible for the development of the university’s £450 million expansion of the Gilmorehill campus. Prior to that, Robbie was Mace’s regional director for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Robbie brings over 30 years’ experience working as a client, project manager and construction manager. Over this period, he has been involved across numerous sectors on a wide range of major projects and programmes, including the Edinburgh International Conference Centre Additional Function Space and Atria office development, Silverburn shopping centre, the Playfair Project for the National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh Airport, as well as his most recent work at the University of Glasgow.
With a base covering the Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen offices, Robbie is responsible for a team of 20 project managers, handling a diverse portfolio of projects and services across a wide range of sectors for both private and public sector clients.
