Significant features (e.g. secured by design, eco-friendly etc): Hillcrest’s first development that qualified for enhanced grant under the ‘Greener’ standard meeting 2011 Building Regs ‘Silver Standard’ in terms of energy for space heating and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

This was done through the provision of solar panels, highly insulated and airtight building envelope, energy efficient boilers, whole house ventilation systems and high performance windows.
