Divisional MD to leave Interserve amid support services restructure
Interserve has merged its Citizens Services division with its Support Services division in a move which will see a managing director depart at the end of the month.
Citizens Services, which embraces justice, Interserve Learning and Employment and Interserve Healthcare, has merged with Support Services with immediate effect.
Interserve said the structural changes will “establish a stronger, simpler and more efficient Support Services offering” and “underline the company’s commitment to its growth strategy, and the aim is to provide the best possible service to Interserve’s customers”.
Citizen Services managing director, Yvonne Thomas, will be leaving the company at the end of December to set up a new venture.
Interserve’s chief executive officer, Debbie White, who also directly heads the Support Services division, said: “This important announcement reflects our commitment to creating a more effective and simplified business that is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers.
“With clear goals and our strategic priorities now in place, the time is right for us to move our Citizen Services business into our Support Services division. I’d like to thank Yvonne for her immense contribution to the business and I wish her well in her future endeavours.”
