DM Hall adds consultant to West of Scotland Commercial Valuation team

DM Hall is enhancing the strength and experience of its West of Scotland commercial valuation team by bringing in highly experienced property professional Iain McGhee as a consultant.
Iain, who hails from Kilmarnock, will be based initially in the firm’s Glasgow city centre office, but will subsequently focus on Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway, where he has an unrivalled local knowledge.
He has 25 years’ experience in the commercial property market, having advised a broad range of lenders, pension funds, public bodies and private clients across all key commercial property sectors.
Iain said: “I am delighted to be joining a team in DM Hall which shares my values and aspirations, particularly at a time when there is so much change and progress in the West of Scotland region.

Iain joins DM Hall after a rewarding 18-year career at Knight Frank, where he was a partner for 11 years, and a short spell at East Ayrshire Estates, the property arm of East Ayrshire Council.
MRICS qualified, he is an RICS Registered Valuer and an RICS APC Assessor and Chairperson. He also held the position of External Examiner for Glasgow Caledonian University’s Construction and Built Environment Real Estate Course in recent years.
