Drive-thru first for Scottish shopfitting firm
Dundee based shopfitting company Caledonia Contracts has just completed the first drive-thru in Scotland for coffee giants Starbucks’ Franchisee OCO Westend Ltd.
The development opened on Friday 6th February, on the former Hillman car factory site in Linwood.
Caledonia Contracts has worked with Starbucks for 10 years, completing over 100 stores and this latest project has created much excitement amongst the team, knowing it’s the first drive-thru for Scotland.
Stuart McNally, operations director of Caledonia, said: “The continued expansion of Starbucks in Scotland means potential growth for Caledonia Contracts, and in turn, sustaining and growing our skilled workforce. This is great news for employment in the area.”
Franchisee JJ O’Hara added: “It was great to be working with a local Scottish contractor who is as passionate about the milestone for Scotland as we are and we look forward to growing the franchise network in Scotland.”
Caledonia Contracts is the preferred contractor for Starbucks in Scotland and the planned, accelerated growth, bodes well for a local company that continues to lead the way in shop fitting and interior fit out solutions.
