Persimmon East Scotland has named Dale Robertson as the recipient of its inaugural Apprentice of the Year award.

The new accolade recognises exceptional commitment, skill development, and contribution to the team, highlighting Dale’s hard work and dedication as a key member of the Persimmon East Scotland apprenticeship programme.

Dale, who is currently undertaking an Advanced Craft Bricklaying course, is one of only three apprentices across the whole of Persimmon in Scotland to be selected for this prestigious programme. His outstanding progress, professionalism, and passion for learning have made him a standout apprentice in the region.

Dale’s journey with Persimmon East Scotland began two years ago, and since then, he has shown exceptional promise. He works across various sites in East Scotland, helping to build high-quality homes, while gaining valuable skills in bricklaying under the guidance of industry experts.

Kevin Ferris, Persimmon East Scotland construction director, said: “We are delighted to present our inaugural Apprentice of the Year award to Dale. His dedication to his trade, combined with his strong work ethic and commitment to learning, makes him a role model for other apprentices. Dale is a vital part of our team, and we’re proud to support his continued development in the construction industry.”

Dale Robertson said: “I’m honoured to be named the first Apprentice of the Year at Persimmon East Scotland. This award means a lot to me, and I’m grateful for all the support I’ve received from my colleagues and mentors. I’m excited to continue developing my skills and contributing to the team.”
