Edinburgh building and joinery firm doubles workforce with new funding
A building and joinery business based in Edinburgh has doubled the size of its workforce in its head office following funding from Santander Business Banking.
True Build Trade Services Limited was founded in 2010 by Paul Dempsey and is one of the most respected building contractors in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas for renovations, extensions and construction of housing developments.
The financing from Santander will fund new larger premises in Edinburgh, which will enable the firm to take on larger property development work, the first of which is a 10-flat development in the centre of Edinburgh.
The funding will also allow True Build to double the size of its workforce by hiring five new members of staff. The business is aiming to increase its revenue by 100% over the next two years.
Paul Dempsey, managing director at True Build, said: “The support from Santander has been key to our success and we are now in a position where we need to expand in order to meet demand. The new property has given us the space we need to grow and the new employees will be essential in helping us continue to provide an excellent service for our customers.”
Sean Millan, business relationship director from Santander Business Banking, added: “True Build has gone from strength to strength in a competitive market place. The firm has been able to thrive thanks to its strong network and the quality of its work, and Santander is delighted to be able to support such a growing local business.”
