Edinburgh building consultancy launches rights of light service
Independent building and project consultancy Paragon has launched a service to provide daylight and sunlight planning and rights of light advice, as it continues to expand its integrated offer in Scotland.
Located on Edinburgh’s George Street, Paragon now provides daylight and sunlight consultancy and rights of light advice to commercial developers, funders, architects, planning consultants and housebuilders throughout pre-acquisition, feasibility and detailed design.
The new service also combines with the consultancy’s existing neighbourly matters offer to further maximise potential and minimise risk throughout the development process.
Commenting on the service launch, Paragon director and head of the Edinburgh office, David Philip, said: “We have every confidence that our rights of light service will play a significant role in our further expansion in Scotland.
“As with all our services, our daylight and sunlight consultancy and rights of light team will quickly establish issues, identify opportunities and deliver positive commercial outcomes for our clients.”
Paragon’s daylight and sunlight service in Scotland is led by director Anthony Harris who has specialised in rights of light, daylight and sunlight and party wall matters for 20 years. Before joining the business, he was a partner at rights of light specialist surveying firm GIA.
