Edinburgh student housing proposal submitted

Plans have been lodged with the City of Edinburgh Council to build a 266-bed student housing development at a former builder’s yard.
Ardent Group and Fourward Architecture intend to demolish the existing buildings at the Russell Road site to make way for 56 apartments complete with reception, common rooms, car parking, gym and laundry facilities.
The project also includes the creation of new external open space/public realm, bin and cycle stores, along with access and infrastructure work.
