The team aims to use its local knowledge and experience to support clients to win work in the Scottish infrastructure market.

For the past decade, EiB has helped its clients win major contracts in Scotland, such as Edinburgh Trams and the SW and NE Scottish Trunk Road contracts. It is currently supporting UK and international clients on bids for projects totalling c£1.4 billion in the renewables and highways sectors.

Alongside contributing to the Scottish economy and supporting local companies, this has also contributed to the ongoing growth of EiB. The new office in Edinburgh will give key access to its clients, enabling more opportunities to work collaboratively in one space.

Operations director for EiB Scotland, Gordon Wilson, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our new office in Edinburgh to be closer to our Scottish clients. Our office and dedicated Scottish bidding team is a key step in improving our support to our clients and helping them win work in the local renewables, highways, rail and utility sectors.”
